Well, The bar has been raised this morning by Dwight Hall who scorched the Towers Time Trial Course with a time of 26:07.
That's a good bit faster than any time we've seen to date with the prior fastest know time being held by a runner (Nick Clark) at 29:27. The cyclists now hold claim to the fastest time and the runners have a new mark to shoot for.
Here is Dwight's description of his ride. "Did the Towers tt this morning. Fresh legs, hot, no wind, rode my middle ring, suffered but did a 26:07. Feeling good about that time." Dwight, I think the rest of us would feel pretty good about that time too.
Now If I can just figure out how to shave 6+mins off my time...
